Launching A sustainable reusable menstrual choice for girls and women

The Raaji reusable project (powered by Sindh Rural Support Organisation) is based on the insights we received from four year of educating audiences in rural and urban Pakistan on menstrual health. Our key learning was that without offering or creating an affordable, accessible, inclusive and sustainable menstrual product, education was only solving one half of the problem. And so, on the annual DO Day launched by The DO in Berlin on October 18, 2021, we finally worked together with our partners, rural women and girls & academia to create reusable menstrual pads that could significantly reduce Pakistan’s menstrual footprint.

Our trained Digital Champions are using Raaji pads created by rural artisans to educate community women on menstrual health, hygiene and safety.
